Meet The Armadale Chiropractic Wellness Team

Dr. Sacha Browne
I became interested in chiropractic, after a period of ill health in my Late twenties, whereby I suffered from chronic fatigue for two years (undiagnosed). Until, this point I had been focused upon coming a conservation veterinary scientist. I was completing my degree in Biological Science). This, period of ill-health in my life: - forced me to take time to examine my own life and my goals at the time. I literally had more time on my hands than I had ever wished for (it was an unwelcome interlude at the time). Obviously poor health is not something anyone aspires to, however, it made me address many issues that I needed. Amongst these were: Realizing my own health goals, the failure of the current health system to address my own health needs, the isolation/relative helplessness of a person in that situation (who was not aware of other health care alternatives). I read extensively about other areas of health and philosophy.
My health eventually recovered, through a holistic approach :- rest, support from my partner and friends, exercise and nutritional supplementation. Shortly after, my recovery, I was fortunate to meet a young chiropractor (through mutual friends), who literally was my first contact with a 'chiropractor'. Through Dr Aaron McPherson I became aware of the chiropractic profession. He had a vibrant, vital approach to healthcare, which resonated with my own ideals. I had chiropractic adjustment, and …..within three months applied for entry into the Chiropractic Course at Murdoch. I knew Murdoch University to be an excellent educational facility (as I had studied Biological Science there). Murdoch is renowned for its student centered approach to learning and its excellent teaching and research facilities. My time at university, was challenging, inspirational and rewarding. I consider myself privileged to be taught by the excellent lecturers, from a variety of health and science related fields. Several who had been successful chiropractors, and who continue to choose to dedicate their future to Chiropractic Education.
I believe in a patient centered approach to health care. One which you 'the patient' is actively involved in your own health. I endeavor to educate my patients about all aspects of their health, after all knowledge is empowerment.
As a chiropractor I aim to utilize my skills, education and privilege to help others achieve their health goals. We will work toward improving your health and wellbeing, improving your function, enhancing awareness of your own health/vitality, giving you a greater sense of self empowerment (through setting health goals).
I have been happily partnered to Adam for 14 years, we met while I was working in Retail (while in my first course at University). We currently do not have any children, but we have a menagerie of animals. Since we have mostly finished renovating our old house (which was really frustrating) but highly rewarding, I am looking forward to having more time to spare time to enjoy my other hobbies. I enjoy reading, am interested in current affairs and I am passionate about environmental issues. We enjoy catching up with friends for meals, movies and bands.
I ensure that myself and my own friends and close family are regularly adjusted (although I do not necessarily advocate that I treat my own friends/family). I am a firm believer in preventative health and therefore ensure that we enjoy a natural diet. I enjoy swimming, body balance classes and walking. In addition, to diet and exercise I believe in the importance of a healthy natural home environment. Thus I minimise the use of unnecessary toxic cleaning products and utilise environmentally friendly ones.
I consider myself to be a great listener and look forward to meeting you and discussing your health concern. Give our office a call or email me with the link below.'

Tina Lembo - Wellness Team Coordinator
I have had a neck problem for over 20 years and I lived in constant pain.
As far as I was concerned there was nothing I could do about it so pain became apart of my life.
That was until I met the team from Longevity Wellness Centre.
After a program of care the tension in my neck is gone and I started to notice other wonderful changes ie: sitting and standing for long period of time pain free, increased energy, improved sleep and the list goes on.
My passion is to help people and make a difference in their lives so working with the wonderful team at the Longevity Wellness Centre is the perfect job for me.
I also volunteer at Radio Lolli Pop at PMH Perth Children’s Hospital. I get to play games, read books and make the sick children laugh.
Hobbies and activities: I love to keep fit playing soccer, tennis, squash and ten pin bowling. Bike riding, fishing, walking, reading and gardening are some of the activities I enjoy.

Pina Russo - Head Chiropractic Assistant
When I had the opportunity to work at the front desk of a chiropractor, I hadn’t had much info on what benefit they can have on your life.
Listening to patients talk so highly off them that I thought I must try this for myself,
as I have low back problems and headaches. After treatments the headaches have gone, low back heaps better.
As a mother of 5 I wished I had had this info when my children were little. So now I tell as many mothers with young children about chiropractic and how it will help them.
I also enjoy spending time with my family and entertaining at home, going out with my friends.
Seeing the benefits and improvements in our patients’ health is one of the reasons I enjoy working at Longevity Wellness Centre.
Louise Bachman - Chiropractic Assistant
I began my relationship with chiropractic as a patient of the Longevity Wellness Centre. My initial visit was for slight back pain, which consequently has gone. My wellness programme also led to other health benefits, including a dramatic reduction in the occurrence of severe headaches that I was getting up to four times a week. My experiences at the LWC have always been so positive, warm and welcoming that when a position as a Chiropractor’s Assistant became available I eagerly applied.
I am currently studying primary school teaching full-time through Curtin University, which I am very passionate about. My other interests include spending time with my partner, family and friends and reading. I find that my position with the LWC works in harmony with the rest of my busy life, which is filled with love, laughter and happiness.
Penny Mackenzie- Chiropractic Assistant
Chiropractic care has been an important part of my family’s routine for the past 12 years. It was by chance that Chiropractic Week was being advertised when I decided to bring my teenage son in for a spinal check. At the time, he was experiencing poor mobility, unable to get out of bed or a car without difficulty. X-rays were taken and exposed the areas of concern and a treatment plan was put into place.
It was at this time I was convinced that Chiropractic care was great. With a constant care program my son; a young adult enjoys a healthier lifestyle. Each member of my family has experienced the need for regular visits either due to the type of work they do or the sporting activities they enjoy.
When the opportunity became available for me to be part of a clinic that I had great faith in, there were no second thoughts. This was a great chance for me to assist in a role that I personally received benefits from and to allow me in return to focus on making this clinic an enjoyable place to visit. I welcome you to visit our Clinic and to enjoy the benefits of a healthier lifestyle.
